Buzz Talay is an Australian artist based in South East Queensland. This singer/songwriter has had years of experiencing life both in the city and the Australian Outback. Hailing from country New South Wales and spending the last 25 years working and playing music around Queensland, Buzz is bringing to you a new contemporary country style of Australian music.

In 1996 Buzz was a finalist in the TSSA songwriter’s competition and has been a regular Tamworth CMF Artist for over 10 years. He is an international performer and is a regular at many well known festivals and venues. Although his experience covers many genres with many musicians, his own music is a blend of Australian Country which comes from the heart. He has played numerous festivals including the Urban Country Music Festival, The Grass Roots Festival and the Gold Coast’s Wintersun Festival.

Buzz is also a member of the band Corn Liquor who are regulars at festivals such as Tamworth, Gasolene & Garterbelts and Mud, Bulls & Music. Their gigs have taken them around Queensland, NSW, Victoria and New Zealand. Buzz also slots in occasionally with 8 Ball Aitken and has toured North America with Chuck’s Wagon several times.
